Sotheby’s is set to auction the rare Desert Rose diamond in Abu Dhabi, where the stone is estimated to fetch around $7 million.
This unmounted, 31.68-carat pear-shaped diamond—graded VVS1 and recognized as the world’s largest fancy vivid orangey-pink diamond—will be a star attraction at the December 5 “Precision & Brilliance” (Prestigious Jewels & Watches from an Important Private Collection sale), held as part of the auction house’s first-ever Collectors’ Week in the UAE capital.
